Whispering Pines Tournament Recap – Great Lakes Junior Golf Tour

The Whispering Pines Tournament delivered a memorable day of junior golf as part of the 2025 Great Lakes Junior Golf Tour. Despite a drenched course from recent rains, players were met with ideal weather conditions, setting the stage for impressive performances across all age groups.

In the Boys 16–19 division, Mason Gjovik continued his strong season with a steady and composed victory with a one under par round of 71. Lukas Miller claimed the top spot in the Boys 13–15 group by way of a 78, showcasing sharp ball striking and confident putting throughout the round. Payten Leet led the way in the Girls 19 & Under division with am 86. In the Boys 10–12 category, Brantley Savitz emerged as the winner with a round of 46 on the saturated layout.

Next up, the tour heads to Oakland Beach Bash in Conneaut Lake, PA, where players will take on a new set of challenges particularly the always enjoyable 17th green.
